Just some random stuff that is part of my ‘head cannons’.

Troll and human psychic abilities don’t really work on each other in predictable ways. Some of the abilities that trolls have could end up not working on a human at all, others can have unexpected or even opposite effects.

For example: Vriska’s mental abilities to hitch a ride on a person and then use them to control someone else, on a human would only give her a sense of their emotional state or thoughts. She couldn’t be able to reach acrossed the gap between troll to human to be able to use her powers on them not without alot of work and figuring out whatever ‘gap’ there was that existed. 

Highblood’s chucklevoodoos likely would work very well on most humans. Since it’s something that strikes a more emotional cord, hitting the more primal emotions as fear.

But in a small percentage of humans instead of the fear.. it hits other parts and instead of becoming freaked out, they become turned on. LOL (the separation in humans between love and fear is very small)

Trolls don’t have belly buttons (or likely nipples as we see them..) instead their smooth bellies are very soft and sensitive.
